Fátima was born on 1st August 1968. Her first passion was for drawing and painting, before she discovered literature and all other art forms. Then came travelling. As a young girl, she used to “force” her family to visit ruins and especially castles. As a result, she developed a keen interest for History and Philosophy. Fátima frequented a course in Philosophy at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and in History at the Faculty of Letters of Universidade Clássica, both in Lisbon. She was accepted as a manager’s assistant in a company dedicated to the recuperation and rehabilitation of architectural heritage. In the 10 years she spent there, Fátima worked for several departments until she became Marketing and Advertising Manager. She supported the birth of the first Portuguese guild of companies focused on the restoration of architectural heritage and was the graphic editor of a magazine specialized on the subject. Later, she joined a communication and press agency, where she worked for two years. Presently Fátima is in charge of defining program contents for all activities promoted by Fuga Perfeita, and of research and development of new programs and events.
